In this episode, David continues his 16 bit rant, speculates on Core Image coolness, tells a story about precision crosshairs for painting, reviews "How to Wow - Photoshop for Photography" by Jack Davis & Ben Willmore, and "Photoshop CS2: Up to Speed" by Ben Willmore, and shows a cool little trick using Fade Filter. There's also a new contest for a copy of the excellent Dan Margulis "Lab Color: The Canyon Cunundrum" book.

Great job on all shows thus far. Keep the fun adobe history in. Ok so who is the mystery comic author? RB? Comentaries on books authors etc seem very fair not like some mac or photoshop shows looking for sponsorship. I suppose you will talk about forums thaat are good or passable.

Please make Chops available for download, via ebooks.

Again great job....this is the best PS/Digital imagery Pod broadcast.

Keep the photoshop history in. It's great to hear how things have developed over the history of the program. I enjoy each show and look forward to the next. Buzz

Thanks for the feedback, guys! The best stories are yet to come, fear not. David - the idea of doing an ebook is interesting, but the authors I've spoken to tell me that it's hard to sell more than a few, they end up getting posted and pirated like crazy. We'll see what develops along these lines - perhaps there's some way to reasonably publish it electronically.

Thanks for the stories of the history of Photoshop. I have been a computer geek since 1980 and love to reminisce about how things have come along. You're the only one who's got lots of these stories and background...please don't let them go to waste! :-)

    Love the show.

Enjoy the format, definitely keep the stories. Can't wait to hear your comments on Aperture, sort of reminds me of LivePicture, sigh....

Personally I love the history. But then I have a little myself. Good to hear your voice, David! My first image editing program was in fact Silicon Beach's Digital Darkroom, and I rarely meet anyone who even remembers it. Or what it was like to wait a few minutes for a 1 meg file to rotate.
